
Taco Wonton Cups

Perfect for those on a weight loss journey who loves a good taco Tuesday!
Ingredients
- 12 Wrappers Wonton
- 1LBS Ground Beef
- 1 Cup White Onion
- 1⁄2 Cup Diced Tomato
- 1⁄2 Cup Green Chilis
- 1 Packet of Taco Seasoning
- 1 Pinch of Cilantro
- 1 Dollop Sour Cream
- 1 Pinch of Shredded Cheese
Step 1 Preheat and Prepare Wonton Cups
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a muffin tin. Press a wonton wrapper into each cup, forming a well for the filling. Bake for 7 minutes until crispy.
Step 2: Cook Taco Filling
Heat a large pan and add a little cooking oil. Add 1 cup diced onions and cook for 3 minutes until translucent and slightly browned. Add 1/2 cup diced red tomatoes and 1/2 cup green chilis. Move veggies to the side and add 1 pound of 95-5 ground beef (or ground turkey/chicken). Sear meat, then break into crumbles. Add taco seasoning, stir well, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Taste and adjust salt as needed.
Step 3: Assemble and Bake
Fill each wonton cup with taco mixture and top with shredded cheese. Bake for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 4 Add Finishing Touches
Allow Taco Wonton Cups to cool for a few minutes. Top with fresh cilantro and a dollop of sour cream.
